PITA's crate description
Convenient:
The PITA transport crate is designed for traveling with your dogs and cats in the hold.
Water:
A standard transport cage must have exterior access to the water bowl. The rear panel will be equipped with it. A simple system facilitates this access in order to provide airport staff with water supplies.
Spacing:
The body is equipped with bars on its sides. Indeed,, in the cargo hold, the boxes are stacked and glued to each other. However, it blocks the ventilation. So, these bars will ensure to leave a space between the neighboring boxes so as not to block the vital openings.
Handy:
Straps are arranged on the sides of the body. This measures allow to load the box in the trunk of your car when folded or to load the box in the hold when unfolded.
Storage:
When we travel with our pet, there is a minimum to carry in addition. This is why the box has a storage for the important administrative papers of your dog or cat, for leashes or harnesses, plastic bags, ...
Thermal and Sound Insulation:
Travel in the hold is a constant thermal and sound change. Generating a lot of stress and anxiety for the animal. Our challenge is to minimize sounds and thermal changes within the cage.
Thanks to a ingenious passive system, temperature variations or sound waves are limited. We have carried out laboratory tests to improve insulation while respecting a ventilation percentage necessary for the dog or the cat.
Materials :
The materials used are chosen to optimize the strength and safety of the PITA transport crate.
The panels of the main body are made in an disruptive structure made of about 20mm thick and ligth materials much stronger than a basic plastic case.
Each material consolidates the box. The ergonomics of the PITA transport crate allows it to fold while remaining solid. Once the crate door is unfolded, it is impossible to fold the crate.
Ventilation:
The IATA standard requires a certain ventilation percentage. The PITA transport cage exceeds this percentage, so as not to partition the animal.
Small fans will be integrated to circulate the air at best and create a renewal in the space of your dog or cat. Thus, it will limit odors or excess humidity and will allow your pet to breathe better.
Ergonomic handle:
Luggage, animal, your crate, all this is hell when traveling. An ergonomic handle facilitates the journey to the airport.
The handle is both practical and handy. It is designed to facilitate the pulling of the body with a considerable weight, and to facilitate the passage of obstacles (sidewalk, ramp, ...).
Wheels:
The wheels of the PITA box are 360 °, you can easily move in all directions and pass the obstacles around you.
The IATA standard requires the ability to disable the wheels of the transport box. Some airports even ask to be able to remove them.
The wheels will be rendered inoperative by a simple system, preventing the owner from having to lift the body or lean too much. The cash register can be without its wheels in case of need.
Shock absorbers:
An animal deserves all the comfort possible, which is why shock-absorbing bumpers are placed on the body to prevent jolts and make it easier to overcome obstacles.
The inside of the body isolates the animal from sudden movements during boarding manoeuvres.

Our transport crate is available in different sizes depending on the dog or the cat. We propose 2 sizes :
PITA's crate S3

- 40.15 x 28.15 x 33.46 (d x w x h) + 18kg
Adapted to dog's and cat's breed as :
- Medium + : (Bulldog, Sharpei, Belgian Shepherd // Maine Coon )
- Large : (Boxer, Germain shepherd, Husky, Labrador // Ashera)
Connection:
The PITA transport cage is connected. Thanks to an electronic system in the rear panel of the cash register, you can access to several functions like :
GPS:
It happens that the transport crates get lost, send on the wrong plane or get lost in the airport. Thanks to its GPS chip and the PITA application on smartphone and tablet, you will be able to locate your animal before boarding and once it arrives at its destination.
Data recording:
During the trip, connection is not possible. But the cash register system continues to function. The animal's vital datas are recorded and are transcribed to you once arrived. This allows you to adapt the care and attention paid to your animal on site.
